History

JORDAO was founded in Guimarães in 1982 by a small group of professionals with a large experience in the commercial refrigeration industry, being the leader of this group Mr. José Júlio Jordão. Since then the company innovates, designs, develops and produces commercial refrigeration equipment: displays, counters, vertical exhibitors…, for the Food Retail and the Horeca channel. After more than 29 years of its foundation, the company has gone through a remarkable growth, reaching a position of national market leader and an increasing presence in the international market. In 2010 it equipped more than 3500 stores and exported more than 60% of its production into the 5 continents.
